Punjab Lifts 8 PM Business Closing Restriction Until June 1

The Punjab government has lifted the Business Closing Restriction to close by 8 PM until June 1. Authorities announced a temporary relaxation in business operating hours across the province. Moreover, the decision is expected to provide relief to traders and improve shopping convenience for the public.

According to the provincial government, the revised decision applies to markets, shopping malls, hotels, food outlets, and restaurants throughout Punjab. As a result, businesses will now be allowed to continue operations beyond the previously imposed 8 PM deadline. Deputy Commissioner Captain (Retired) Ali Ejaz stated that the restriction on market closures after 8 PM has officially been removed starting immediately.
